About the CHA
Concord Housing Authority provides housing assistance to applicants of low and moderate income through the management of Federal (HUD), State (DHCD) and local (CHA owned property) programs. The CHA is part of the Centralized Section 8 Wait list. These programs are income based with eligibility guidelines that are set by HUD or DHCD. If you are in need of housing assistance in the area please contact the Housing Authority directly to obtain more information about eligibility requirements, availability of rentals or vouchers, the status of any waiting lists and their application procedures.
Concord Housing Authority (CHA), a local public agency established under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 121B and operating under Federal, State and Town mandates, is the development and administration of needed non-discriminatory low and moderate income housing for elderly, disabled and handicapped individuals, and families. The CHA’s goal is to provide decent, safe and affordable housing opportunities, delivering services that encourage mutual accountability, self-reliance and financial self-sufficiency for long term stability. The goals of the CHA are part of the Town’s historical commitment to foster a heterogeneous and integrated community.
